I am 30 with adult acne on my cheeks. When younger it was on my t-zone but now mostly on my cheeks and beginning to scar. I have been on accutane before. Cleared it up but it's back in different location.

I am currently using combo of dial soap, tri-derma intense fast healing in morning and acnexus and benzaclin at night.

The best way in treating pimples and acne is to use benzoyl peroxide 5% gel (available at your local drug store) to the involved areas at night and NeoStrata alpha hydroxyacid in the morning (without using prescription medication). Some people are allergic to benzoyl peroxide. A product named Tend Skin is an effective acne treatment. Another advice is to wash your face twice a day with a mild non-soap cleanser. Do not pick or squeeze your pimples, as it can leave scars. Acne surgery can be done using sterile instruments to remove blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples.

Hope this helps you! Good Luck!

You do not need any chemical or surgical treatment. This is a simple, NATURAL, safe, low cost treatment the really works. Answer was chosen 5 star Best Answer by Asker who responded it was working after 3 days. Vitamin E capsules are a very effective cure but you have to APPLY CAPSULE CONTENTS DIRECTLY TO THE SKIN. I know for a fact that when someone has face lift surgery doctors tell patient to do precisely this to hasten healing and minimize scarring. You will see results in two to four days. ALSO another very effective treatment which can be used in conjunction with the above is to use an organic or natural oil, coconut oil works well- massage face with quite a strong, vigorous motion - that part is important - once a day (best at night as will make face flushed). You will find you can make it more vigorous as you progress. Skin is always renewing, the vigorous massaging hastens a spot and blemish free new skin to emerge. Initially, the skin has to adjust and if soreness or other reactions happen - the skin might expel poisons that need to be expelled - then stop and resume when you can. You have to find the pace that works for you - it's different for every person. Stick with it & in a week or so you will see an improvement and overtime you will have a completely spot free, clear and healthy radiant skin. Some have used this treatment and have found it permanently rids skin of pimples and all other kinds of skin problems. You will never need any other treatment, will not need moisturisers or other products - only unhealthy skins need all those. It also dramatically minimises any wrinkles or other signs of skin aging. Many skin problems are the result of cleaning with soaps, other products used on skin which contain harsh chemicals, other ingredients. Only use very mild cleaners and products. The tea tree oil face wash will help a lot. SOURCE(S): Over 20 years research into natural treatments of skin, hair and scalp disorders

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL

1/ Never, ever touch your face.

2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.

3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal

4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.

Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.

5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.

6/ Do this for 90 days.

7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a

nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

I would prefer using salicylic acid rather than glycolic acid because it is not as aggressive. I had used both salicylic acid and glycolic acid peels before. I wished my facial lady had not use glycolic acid because my skin conditon got worst over time. It was good for the first year, but now my skin lost the shiny elastic layer. I would suggest talking to your dermatologist for an accurate skin analyst (and make sure you are not allergic to any type of acids) before trying out the peel, just to be safe.

When one has acne, there is a problem in the breakdown of what is going on inside your gut. It comes out through your skin. Try a simple liver detox, go get evaluated by a naprapath or a chiropractor. If you have a holistic M.D. you can visit or a nutritionist and they can help you with this. It could be a simple zinc deficiency. Find out why the problem is there by a professional and for the love of your self, do not take anti-biotics for this. I developed chronic fatigue from taking anti-biotics for a 6 week period. I have never been the same since and it has been about 20 years. It destroyed all the good bacteria in my gut and that is how most people run into situations like this in the first place! AHHHH!

I feel your pain!!!! I'm a good looking 30 year old woman with the acne of a teenager. I have tried just about everything. The only thing that has worked so far is a microdermabrasion cloth that I got off of eBay. I only use cold water with it being that cold water will help to close pores and the mirodermabrasion cloth will remove the dead cells that are blocking the bacteria in. I have found that just water and the cloth are way better than any chemical I have ever tried. I hope this works for you too. I am including the web page for the cloth that I use. Good luck!
