ok, I am the only person in my family that got bed bugs. In my old house I never got them and then their was the house fire.We were in hotel rooms for 3 weeks until we found a new house and had the rental furniture brought in. I never got a bite until I came to this new house and it started, at first I thought they were mosquito bites but then they kept coming and driving me crazy literally crazy you have no idea what kind of effect the have on you other than physical. So I eventually found out it was from my room and checked for the bugs, I flipped the mattress and the box spring and looked else ware. To date I have yet to find a bug but I know its coming from there because as soon as I started sleeping on the couch the bites stopped completely. So I want to know why me why did they or it get in my bed. Is it something I did or encountered what do you think? And if I still can't find a bug what method do you think I should do to catch one you know to find out exactly what it is.

renting furniture is a no no. there is a spray about nine bucks i think that can help at target , also lysol your mattress and vaccum it. used furniture also has the energy of the people who owned it before so you should bless it and take away negative energy.

First of all, everyone has bedbugs. Most people flip their mattresses and regularly clean their sheets, so they're rarely a problem. The best thing you can do is to spray your bed with a bug spray made for that, then buy a hypo-allergenic mattress cover. These covers are what allergists recommend for people who have nasal allergies, and keeps the mattress totally covered. The bugs can't penetrate these covers either, so you'd be protected. How do you know it's bedbugs? It could be fleas, especially if the bites are located mostly on your feet and ankles. With fleas, you have to spray everything, including the rug in your room, and wash all the bedding & pillows. We've had to deal with fleas when our dog brought them in from the yard and slept on our bed. Nasty things. I've also found that certain people seem to get bit more often than others, and I don't know why that is. Hope you can get rid of those nasty things soon. <*)))><

Actually bed bugs affect a large number of people. You would be surprised at how many homes and hotels are actually infected with bed bugs.

Here are a few facts:

Bed bugs are commonly mistaken for other pests in the home. Or, you may think that you have bed bugs in your home when you actually do not but have some other pest lurking there.

If you plan to treat bed bugs, you need to have proper identification of these insects. Here are some key points to help you to identify them.

• In their adult stage, they are brown to a reddish tint of brown.

• They are an oval shape but they are also flattened out.

• In size, the adult bed bug is about 3/16 to 1/5 of an inch long.

• When they have just had a meal, the bed bug is swollen looking. They will be longer now and have a dark red color to them.

• On the front of their heads, they have what looks like a beak that allows them to pierce and suck from their mouths.

• Adult bed bugs do have wings. These wings do not allow them to fly, though. They are small in size and are very short looking.

• The eggs of bed bugs are white or colorless. They will darken in their color as they mature. They will eventually have a brownish tint to them when they are mature.

• The nymphs look a lot like that of the adult bed bugs in their appearance, just at a smaller size.

Either your hotel room or your rental bed is undoubtedly the source. There has been a renewed epidemic of outbreaks of bedbugs in recent years; there are several theories as to why, but mostly you need to get an exterminator out immediately to deal with them.
