I have severe acne i guess, my acne has improved alot form BenzaClin, but i have to put alot of moisteriser on because it dires out my skin so bad. I still break out in clumps and big soar pimples/spots. My skin looks gross because it is faded from the BenzaClin and red from my acne and it is all scared. Does anyone know how to get rid of redness and remove scars while still getting rid of my acne?

Below are presented a couple of things you need to do as a part of acne pimples, and scar removal home remedy treatment:

* Gently apply fresh limejuice on pimples and blackheads.

* Dab the mixture made by combining 1 tsp fresh coriander powder and a pinch of turmeric powder on the pimples, while going to bed in the night and wash it off when you wake up the next morning.

* Take a few fresh curry leaves and make a paste. Apply the paste on the acne-affected area and keep it overnight and wash it off with warm water the next morning.

* Apply the paste made of nutmeg (Jaiphal) and raw milk on acne and wash it off after 20 minutes. Do it for about 10-12 days and see the magical effects.

If your acne is this severe, you might want to discuss Accutane as an option with your physician. Then, after a course of a treatment with Accutane, you could then consider chemical peels, dermabrasion, or laser resurfacing to treat the scars (after a six-month recovery period -- Accutane makes skin too fragile to have these procedures before then).

There is no cream or oral medication that effectively treats both acne and acne scarring at the same time. Topical retinoids will offer mild improvement over a lengthy period of time to very superficial scars while also treating acne -- but they will not improve significant scars. Accutane will prevent future scars -- but it doesn't treat existing scars. Those who assures you of anything different are offering false hope, unfortunately.

The only type of treatment which will simultaneously improve both skin texture and acne is called PhotoDymanic Therapy, which is a treatment that uses BlueLight after the skin is pre-treated with Levulan/Kerastick (a type of acid). This is not covered by most insurance, and the downtime after a procedure is usually about a week (during which the skin will be very red, sensitive and peel significantly).

It sounds like you need more aggressive therapy than BenzaClin if you are continuing to experience breakouts. Good luck -- seek the advice of a dermatologist practiced in laser and chemical resurfacing of the skin.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL

1/ Never, ever touch your face.

2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.

3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal

4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.

Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.

5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.

6/ Do this for 90 days.

7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a

nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.

The secret is never to touch the spots

ok so my mom who is all about home remedies (for the most part) suggested this and of course i thought it was disgusting. But my acne was holding me back from being happy (you know?) So i gave in and tried it and OMG it has made my skin completely smooth and the acne scars are fading and the acne is not as bad as before (eventually it will go away except when you get your period maybe) *I know gross...but you gotta put urine on your face and leave it on for at least 5 minutes before thoroughly washing it off. Means of obtaining the urine is totally up to you, but apparently aged urine works best. You may want to turn your nose up to the idea, but it's FREE and it actually works. Hope this helps.
