Underarm rash?

I am 16 and around a year and a half ago I developed a rash under both my arms. It does not itch but consists of many brown patches that merge together in the middle. I have tried using different deodorants and even stopped using them altogether for a while, but nothing helps. Not even an intensive moisturiser my pharmacist recommended. Has anyone else on here had anything like this? What would you suggest I do to try to clear it up?

You reported you've been to the final practitioner, and he would not comprehend what that is. it will be a yeast an infection, which itches and burns. it really is corresponding to Athlete's foot, yet there are a selection of different fungus that attack the body. Have him do a way of existence, and if he gained't bypass to a dermatologist. i changed into wondering staph, it quite is bacterial, even though it really is not oozing or spreading, so likely not. it really is taken under consideration necessary that the record isolates the reason, because the incorrect ointment gained't help, is severe priced and a waste of time and money. Yeasts love darkish moist places. imagine armpit, groin, fats folds. even as does it take position? warm summer season climate, dry chilly wintry climate, once you sweat plenty, have a variety of of layers on. Do you sweat plenty. the different probability is an hypersensitive reaction on your deodorant, cleansing soap or powder in case you employ one. attempt not utilising some thing for a lengthy time period. And use a undemanding glycerine cleansing soap without perfumes. they are frequently stressful. ensure you air dry thoroughy beforehand getting dressed. you should use somewhat corn starch, certain the cooking variety as a powder. in case you wash thoroughly you gained't offend. it really is not the sweat that makes human beings scent, it really is the micro organism that grows in it. i'd first attempt eliminating all chemical substances to make certain if that enables. yet, once you've wellbeing insurance, bypass to a dermatologist.

You have a case of contact dermatitis,go to a dermatologist for a correct diagnosis. You are going to need to change your deodorant(unscented and made for sensitive skin),the way you remove under arm hair, perhaps all of your skin cleaning regimen.

I have the more serious atopic dermatitis;I can't use soap at all are any scented products. My deodorant is unscented and made for sensitive skin.My shaving cream has Colloidal oatmeal in it which is good for senstitve skin.If the rash gets really bad,no shaving.

Maybe you shouldn't shave and put deoderant on right after because it can really irritate you like that. I've learned that the hard way. Maybe you should try as a deoderant:

Dove: Sensitive Skin, fragrance free & invisible solid.

For moisturiser maybe you should try:

Lubriderm: 24 Hour Moisture non-greasy.

It seems that you might be allergic to products with chemicals in them. A lot of deodorants , lotions, creams, soaps etc. have harful chemicals in them. My second son was like that and so last year my husband and I decided to switch over our home to products without chemicals ( including deodorants, soaps, toothpaste etc.) If you want more info let me know. Tell your parents to use products without harsh and harmful chemicals; believe me you will all feel better.

yes ive had this you need to go and see your doctor so that he can give you an antibiotic cream that should get rid of it then you should only use a sensitive deoderant and a mild soap after that

i would suggest you go and see your doctor, i'm sure he/she would have something to help you. if you have a male doctor and feel uncomfortable seeing him ask for a female doctor.

good luck i hope you get it cleared up
