itchy hands / red bumps?

Question

the inside of my foot (inside ankle) started to itch. Then later my wrists began to seriously itch. It started to get tiny red bumps and now both my wrists, palms, back of hand and ankles are itching and have bumps on them. What could cause this and what should i do??? (it feels hot too and itch like crazy!)

One of the possibilities that need to be ruled out is scabies. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.

call your doctor asap...i have been diagnosed with preeclampsia and he told me to watch out for pain in my upper right abdominal area...itching could also be an indicator of low platelet counts or liver problems...i don't want to scare you...everything might be just fine, but in case it's not you want to have it seen about asap...good luck and i hope all is well!!
